Yodl is a language exchange app that connects you with native speakers around the world. Practice any language through text and voice messages, and help each other learn with corrections and translations.

Yodl matches you with people who speak the language you want to learn and are learning a language you speak. You can browse profiles, see where people are from, and start conversations with anyone who interests you.

Yodl is free to download and use. You can send unlimited messages, voice recordings, and connect with language partners at no cost.

Yodl supports over 100 languages. You can set your native language(s) and the language(s) you're learning in your profile settings.

Tap and hold the microphone button to record a voice message. Your partner will see a waveform visualization and can play it back at any time. Voice messages are great for practicing pronunciation and listening skills.

When your language partner makes a mistake, you can long-press their message to suggest a correction. They'll see your correction inline and can learn from it. You can also translate messages to help with understanding.

Yes, your privacy is important to us. Your messages are only visible to you and your conversation partner. We don't sell your data or show you ads. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

You can delete your account from the Settings page in the app. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.
